I’ve been teaching A-Level Physics for nine years, both in the classroom and one-to-one. I particularly enjoy mechanics and fields, although most of my students come to me because calculations are costing them marks. We spend plenty of time on past-paper questions and looking at exactly where each mark comes from. I’m quite methodical as a tutor and prefer students to explain their reasoning rather than simply memorise a method.

Hi, I’m a Physics tutor with five years of experience helping A-Level students online. I’m a bit of a space nerd, so astrophysics is probably my favourite part of the course to teach. Lessons are fairly relaxed, but we do a lot of problem solving. I usually get students to attempt a question first, then we pick apart anything that went wrong together. Near exam season, I focus much more heavily on timing and past papers.
